Giving my lady a BOOST 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Good evening everyone,

I own a 2.4 Sky and think I am finally going to give in and give her a turbo. I found the Hahn Racecraft kit online and it looks pretty good. $3,800 for the stage 2. Does anyone know of a good shop in either Tucson or Phoenix that would install this for me? I am looking for reliability. I could probably install the setup myself, but I would really rather not mess with it.

Any help you guys and gals could give me would be most appreciated!

HI John,

There are a few of us in the club that would be happy to help you with the install. We have already done a few of them and can tune the car much better than what comes with the Hahn kit. We can also help you take your it to a very reliable stage 3 if you like...

Again, feel free to contact me via the GM Roadster website.

Thank you,

Martin Scott

Martin,

I actually caved in and traded my baby in on the turbo model today. Thoroughbred Nissan had one in the same color for just about what I still owed on my 2.4 so I figured why not. Now I just have to swap to a black convertible top, black seats and black door panels b/c I can't stand the beige, lol. Also looking into an aftermarket blowoff, maybe the HKS.

I would not mess with the BOV, all the aftermarket ones do is cause the car to throw codes...

The only time I would change the BOV is if you are doing a full turbo Swap.

Thx,

Martin

What upgrades besides the normal exhaust/intake and tune do you recommend that won't mess with the car too much? Upgraded intercooler? Waste gate? Internal mods?

Any info you have would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys!

John,

For the average user here is a list of mods and the order in which they should be done in:

1) GMR Tune
2) New Charge Pipes
3) Hi-Flow Cat

Those three mods will yeild you close to 280Whp... after that you get into things like upgraded comprssor wheels or turbo swaps..

thx,

Martin
