04/14 (Sat) - Dinner & Evening with Lee

The plan is to meet for dinner about 5:30 pm.  Destination to be determined as the Local Breeze restaurant which was previously planned appears to be closed for business.  However, the real master plan is to head over to Hob Nobs Gourmet Cafe to watch our Lee Roberts perform her Western Jazz music, she is slated to perform from 7 to 9 pm.  Please look for upcoming details on the Restaurant Locale in the upcoming week.    *Update* We will just meet up at Hob Nobs for dinner as they have a pretty full menu and this will allow us to get some good seats for LeeLee's performance at 7 pm.

04/15 (Sun) - East Enders Coffee

We are headed back to the original Coffee Rush on the corner of Ray and Dobson by the lake.  This might be our last "outside" East Enders until October so be sure to come top down and with sun screen.  The address is 1949 West Ray Road, Ste 40 on the south east corner of the shopping area.  Join the group at 9:00 for coffee, treats, and admiring our cars!  

4/19 (Thurs) - Kappa Koffee

Join us for a quick Kappa of Koffee or tea at the local Starbucks on 92nd and Shea (9301 E. Shea Blvd) around 6:30pm. Then we are off to dinner at Ling & Louie's where "It is not for boring people"! This restaurant provides an excellent variety of Asian cuisine. It is located at The Shops at 9400 (9397 E. Shea Blvd, 480-767-5464.

04/21 (Sat) - Riverview Car Show

April's Car Show is going to be held at Mesa Riverview.  Be there around 4:00 PM and look for our cars and we plan on dinner around 6:00! Riverview is located just south of the 202 in Mesa off Dobson Drive.

04/22 (Sun) - Under the Stars Food & Wine Pairing

It will be a Sunday afternoon in April... The day will be warm and the air will be clear (We Hope)... And it's time for a SKY-SOL Wine & Food Pairing.  We'll be set up out on the pool deck with casual seating, candles, soft music, a few good wines....and of course lots of food! Location will be at Steve and Fran's home, 5507 E. Dusty Wren Dr. Cave Creek, AZ

04/28 (Sat) - Dinner in Glendale

Nice evening for dinner with the club at Haus Murphy in Glendale, check back for more details. 

As we roll into May, we have a couple key events on the horizon.  These events require registration.  They both are exciting for different reasons, let's not miss out on these great opportunities.    

05/04 - 05/06 (Fri - Sun) - Cannonball Run

Here we go again! The first year, it was just one lonely Sky. Last year, we had 8 cars, how many can we get this year? The 3rd annual Phoenix Cannonball Spree is scheduled for May 4-5. While this is not a "Sky-Sol organized" event, it has quickly become club favorite so we will put the info up on our site.

05/12 - (Sat) - Verde Canyon Train Ride

Come join us on another unique Arizona adventure as we board the Verde Canyon Railroad train and head out into one of our states treasures. The natural splendor of the Verde Canyon clearly identifies it as a state treasure, as deemed by Arizona's governor in 2005.

This ride is incredibly popular during the month of May and thus you will need to prepay for the event in order to be guaranteed a seat. To do so, call Ellen Roberts, Group Coordinator for the Verde Railroad, at 877-674-3835 to make your reservation and pay your fee. Mention you are a club member and reference our confirmation #314186. IMPORTANT - YOU MUST REGISTER AND PAY PRIOR TO APRIL 28TH TO INSURE A SEAT. The cancellation policy is a full refund prior to 48 hours in advance of the trip date or a one year credit after the 48 hour period.
