We met at Jolta Java near Fountain Hills early in the morning.  Members attending the trip and those who had endeavors in Phoenix met to enjoy some time together.  The day was just beautiful as we headed out from Jolta Java and cruised top down up to the casino just south of Payson.  We took a much needed break and warmed up our engines for the opportunities that lay ahead.  We took our time as the roadsters climbed up to the Mogollon Rim through Pine and Strawberry.  You could smell the scent of pine in the air and it was just fabulous.  Soon we were wending our way toward Mormon Lake.  It was a thrilling ride.  We  stopped at Mormon Lake to rest and relax for a while and enjoy the atmosphere of the small Arizona town.

Soon we were on our way, and found a delightful spot for a photo opportunity alongside Lake Mary.  All eleven cars were lined up along the bank of the lake.  It was a great place for pictures.  Rich skillfully led us through Flagstaff to our hotel, and soon after getting everyone settled, we headed to Brandy's for dinner.  The chef came out to visit with our group which was a nice touch to the evening.

Sunday dawned early and soon after breakfast, we were on our way again.  We altered our original plans from seeing the Cliff Dwellings in Walnut Canyon and chose to drive down to Sedona via Oak Creek.  It was a gorgeous ride down through Oak Creek, and upon arriving in Sedona we found a public parking area and separated for a while.  Some went off to find the shops and others found a place to enjoy a cool beverage.  When we reconnected, we discovered that the ride down the I-17 was now open and it was time to head back to the valley.  Some headed home while others went back the way they had come to enjoy the beauty that this state has to offer. We hope that you will join us in the near future for a wonderful time filled with interesting conversation, great people and exciting things to do.  See you next time...Happy Trails...
