NASSM is almost here!!!

rt66smalwebl.jpgRegister for the website at www.nassm2013.com.  Once you have been approved, you may register & pay for the event by going to the NASSM2013 Registration at the top.  Register for single up if you are alone ($90), or double up if you have a passenger ($170).

Get your hotel!!!  Last day to get the great rate of $115 with breakfast is May 15th.

There are many activities.  Be sure to register & pay for Black Bart's dinner, and register for the Car Shows and Rides.

We will be having lunch at 12:30 PM at Texas BBQ House (www.texasbbqhouseaz.com) located at  5037 S 24th St, Phoenix, AZ 85040. Coming from either direction on the 10 Freeway, take the University Dr exit and turn south. Turn right at Broadway which is the first light, and follow for one mile.  Then turn LEFT on S 24th street and the restaurant is less than a half mile on the left at the NE corner of Roeser and 24th.  It looks like an old western building.  Warning, they ONLY take cash, which is somewhat traditional for really good BBQ places in rural Texas.  Here is a review: www.phoenixnewtimes.com/2011-08-25/restaurants/texas-bbq-house-does-lone-star-que-in-phoenix/

Afterwards, we will be driving up to South Mountain for some afternoon twisties (hopefully after the bicycles have gone home).  Part of the goal is to get a photo of the cars on a really awesome S-Turn on the way down from the Radio Towers.  I think we may need at least 10 cars to fill the shot.
